The HR club “L’INCARNATE” of Gnanam School Of Business conducted a HR workshop on the topic ”GENDER INTELLIGENCE” on 29/06/2011 in the campus. The chief guest was Mrs. Saundarya Rajesh and her team of 14 members, from Avtar group, Chennai. The vice-president of the company Mr. Umashankar was also present on the occasion.
Topics like problems of women, workforce diversity were discussed. She explained how women’s contribution is important for an organization’s growth and women can bring changes in many areas by making use of their different managerial skills, which are also new to the field of management.
An Activity was also conducted to analyse some myths about women like “Men make better leaders than women”. Role play was conducted to depict women in workplace.
Towards the conclusion, the CEO of Gnanam School of Business presented momento to the guests as a token of love and appreciation.
