A Two-Day workshop on "Counseling for Managers" by Rev Fr. Jacob, Sampurna Monfort College, Bangalore.

In Gnanam School of Business, a seminar-workshop on personality development and communication skills was conducted on 8 and 9 November 2013. The resource person was Bro. Jacob Ezhanikatt, the Principal of Sampurna, Montfort College, Bangalore. It was a life-transformation program for the students of Business Management.He began with how to love people and things in the world and exercise eco-friendliness like St. Francis Assisi or Ramana Maharishi with care and compassion of Mother Theresa.
 
He also dealt with the psychology of learning and psycho-social development of individuals. He stressed on the need to have modelling type of leadership who will manage their companies without corruption and fraud. If India has to grow into a super-power in all dimensions of progress, it can be achieved only by sincerity of heart and a spirit of systematic hardworking.

He made us understand the tragedy of drug-abuse, child-abuse and disrespect for female persons through striking stories and short-films. There were also group dynamic exercises where the participants were taught positive thinking, sincerely appreciating others and possessing a deep sense of gratitude to Cosmic Power, to people, and to the nature as a whole. He also taught them creative visualization and transcendental meditation.
 
According to their feedback, the MBA students enjoyed the days of seminar as very interesting and instructive where they learnt to set goals for their future and pave strategies to reach their objectives.
