One-day FDP on Research Methodology for Management & Social Science was conducted at Gnanam School of Business, Sengipatti. The resource person Dr. REEVES WESLEY, MBA, Ph.D, FDP-IIM(A) Professor, VIT Business school, Chennai led the FDP meaningfully. The main objective of the workshop was to impart knowledge in the area of Research Methodology for Faculty and Research Scholars. Faculty members and teachers from various colleges and schools of Trichy and Thanjavur participated in this one-day development program. The participants were taught the topic on scaling methods, sampling techniques, parametric & non parametric methods and correlation and regression analysis. The resource person outlined clearly every information about how a research should be done. The resource person elaborated that research is both experiencing and reasoning and must be regarded as the most successful approach to discovery of truth. During the wrap up of the training, the faculty members clarified their doubts and their queries were promptly answered. Thus it was yet another meaningful day of learning at GSB benefitting most of the Faculty and Research Scholars in and around Trichy and Thanjavur.
